Wozniak: Bitcoin will achieve full potential in a decade
By Moris Beracha.- Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak has spoken positively about cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology. During his opening speech at the WeAreDevelopers World Congress in Vienna, Wozniak considered this blockchain to be "a great idea". Later he added that "Blockchain is the next major IT revolution that is about to happen". According to the engineer, cryptocurrencies will achieve their full potential in a decade. This is not the first time Wozniak has made positive comments about Bitcoin. In 2017, he said that Bitcoin is better than gold and the US dollar. He adds that bitcoin’s big advantage is that there is only a limited amount of coins, while fiat money can simply be printed by banks. However, "the Woz" has sold all his bitcoins, except one. During the same conference, he justified his decision because "he does not want to be an investor and constantly watch the prices."
